A method for determining a two-view geometry of two cameras and an apparatus (20) performing the method are described. A reception unit (21) receives at least two images each captured by one of the two cameras. An operation unit (22) extracts a plurality of correspondence features from the images, generates a matrix for each pair of the correspondence features and determine a two-view geometry of the two cameras by calculating a minimization of the sum of determinants of the matrices. Each matrix indicates a function of camera motions of the two cameras. |
