PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve detection accuracy of an edge more than before.SOLUTION: An image processing device includes: an acquisition part that acquires an input image; a vector generation part; and an edge detection part. The vector generation part calculates, as to an attention pixel of an input image, a random field indicating a direction of a change in an image and an energy field indicating intensity of the change in the image in each direction. Further, the vector generation part generates an edge flow vector of the attention pixel, using the random field and the energy field. The edge detection part synthesizes the edge flow vectors generated respectively at each position of input images, and detects an edge pixel of the input image from a position where the post-synthesized edge flow vector faces each other in the image, Then, the vector generation part generates a plurality of edge flow vectors per one attention pixel. |
