PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a merchandise sales data processing device for notifying a placement guide for placing merchandise at a substantially center of a placement part, improving a recognition rate of the merchandise, and correctly registering the merchandise.SOLUTION: The merchandise sales data processing device includes: a placement part on which merchandise is placed; photographing means for photographing the merchandise to be placed on the placement part; position determination means for determining whether or not the merchandise is located at a photographable position in the placement part; and notification means that, when the position determination means determines that the merchandise is not located at the photographable position in the placement part, notifies of the placement guide of the merchandise. Further the notification means displays, on the display part, photographic data photographed by the photographing means, and a guide for placing the photographed merchandise at the photographable position in the placement part.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3 |
