The arrangement comprises a centering element (10) and a press fitting unit (12, 12', 44) for the axial joining of a tool (14) to a power driven device (28) with an oscillating drive shaft (16). The centering element (10) assists in the positioning of the tool (14) in relation to the drive shaft (16) and the press fitting unit (12, 12', 44) is used for locking the tool (14) in the appropriate position. The press fitting unit (12, 12', 44) is designed as a row of cylindrical projections (12) arranged around the outer area of a flange (38) and engaging with complementary openings (12') at the rear end of the tool (44). |
