PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To aim to avoid interference by previously detecting a communication area of another radio system.SOLUTION: A radio device in a vehicle comprises: vehicle-vehicle communication means; another system area detection means; vehicle information extraction means for extracting vehicle information included in a reception signal from a radio device in another vehicle; vehicle information holding means for holding the vehicle information on the other vehicle extracted by the vehicle information extraction means and vehicle information on the vehicle; preceding vehicle detection means for detecting a preceding vehicle which is located in the front of the vehicle and is moving in the same direction as the vehicle on the basis of the vehicle information on the vehicle and the vehicle information on the other vehicle in the vehicle information holding means; preceding vehicle running state monitoring means for monitoring change of a running state of the preceding vehicle; and communication control means for performing interference avoidance processing on the vehicle-vehicle communication means after determining that a communication area of another radio system exists when the running state of the preceding vehicle has changed. |
