PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotary electric machine capable of preventing water immersion from the outside through a portion in contact with a mounting part of a fan and a protrusion of a rotary shaft without requiring a conventional shade-shaped cover and constraining the rotary shaft regardless of the shade-shaped cover.SOLUTION: In a fan 14 mounted on a rotary shaft 4 protruded outside of a housing 13 in which a stator and a rotor are involved, a cover part 14d is provided which faces a portion S in contact with a mounting part 14a of the fan 14 and the other end part (protrusion) 4b of the rotary shaft 4 and covers in a watertight manner an end surface 4c of the rotary shaft 4 from the portion S. The cover part 14d prevents water immersion from the outside through the portion S in contact with the mounting part 14a of the fan 14 and the other end part 4b of the rotary shaft 4. |
