摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vibration detection device for public water supply pipes that can detect a leakage in a public water supply line network in an unmanned manner with high precision for a long period.SOLUTION: A vibration detection device 100 includes a vibration sensor 20 and a terminal device 10, and the vibration sensor 20 is connected to the terminal device 10 and installed for a public water supply pipe so as to gather vibration data and dark vibration data. The terminal device 10 includes data gathering time range determination means 11 of determining a time range in which a dark vibration level of the vibration sensor 20 is relatively low as a data gathering time range of the vibration sensor 20, and vibration data storage means 85 of storing vibration data of the vibration sensor 20 in a wide frequency range and at a high sampling frequency for a time in which the dark vibration level of the vibration sensor 20 is lowest in the data gathering time range, and in a narrow frequency range and at a low sampling frequency for a time other than the time in which the dark vibration level of the vibration sensor 20 is lowest.
