PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a communication system which can prevent all communication devices from being disabled for communicating with each other.SOLUTION: A communication system 100 comprises: a driving control unit 10; a shift sensor unit 20; a shift indicator unit 30; a first communication line 51 connecting the driving control unit 10 and the shift sensor unit 20; a second communication line 52 connecting the first communication line 51 and the shift indicator unit 30; and a connection switch 60. The driving control unit 10 monitors whether there is occurrence of abnormality that hinders its communication with the shift sensor unit 20 via the first communication line 51 on the basis of states of the first communication line 51 and second communication line 52, and when it is determined that such abnormality occurs, instructs the connection switch 60 to separate the shift indicator unit 30 from the first communication line 51. |
