Substituted dabigatran compounds (I) are new. Substituted dabigatran compounds of formula (I) and their derivatives, salts, solvates, or the solvates of salts are new. R1 : H or optionally branched, optionally saturated and optionally substituted 1-12C-hydrocarbon chain; and n : 1-10. Independent claims are included for: (1) a drug comprising (I) in combination with one or more further active agents; and (2) the preparation of (I).
