PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a projector optical path diaphragm device, an optical path of which is opened and closed by making two blades come closer or separate without using an engagement mechanism of a gear.SOLUTION: An optical path diaphragm device 1 includes: right and left blades 20 turning around rotating shafts 41 extending in a direction to intersect the direction of an optical shaft A of the optical path of a projector; arms 30 for making each blade 20 rotate between optical path opening and closing positions; and a drive mechanism 50 for driving the arms 30. The drive mechanism 50 has a movement frame 60 for making a linear movement in a direction to which the optical shaft A extends. When the movement frame 60 is driven and advanced by a motor 80, both of the arms 30 are pushed by the movement frame 60 so as to rotate around the rotating shafts 41 in opposite directions, thereby making the two blades 20 simultaneously perform opening and closing movements. |
