PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable the reduction of a cycle time when lifting a carriage between travel paths having different vertical heights.SOLUTION: A carriage lifting device comprises: lifting platforms 4a, 5a for supporting and lifting a carriage 1 between an elevating limit height corresponding to an upper side travel path 2 and a lowering limit height corresponding to a lower side travel path 3; and carriage drive means for transferring and moving the carriage 1 between the lifting platforms 4a, 5a and the upper and lower travel paths 2, 3. The lifting platforms 4a, 5a are divided into a plurality of lifting units 52-54 that are arranged serially in a direction of the transfer and movement of the carriage 1, and one carriage 1 is supported by the plurality of lifting units 52-54. Lifting drive means 55-57 are provided together with each of the lifting units 52-54, and thereby the plurality of lifting elements 52-54 can be lifted at different timing separately. |
