1. An assembly comprising:
a first pump, the first pump comprising a first piston; a second pump, the second pump comprising a stop member and a second piston having a piston rod, a first head, a second head, and an internal compensator interposed between the first head and the second head, the first head having an aperture that allows for the movement of the piston rod through the first head, the piston rod having at least one flange at one end of the piston rod; and an actuator; wherein the actuator is operatively associated with the first piston and the second piston; wherein the second pump further comprises a void capable of receiving the piston rod when the first head reaches the stop member. |
