A method for fabricating a part, comprising: sectionalizing a computer-generated representation of a part into strata having an order; forming solid sheets corresponding to the strata, from a material; stacking at least two consecutive sheets of the solid sheets in the order; positioning a first bonding agent and a second bonding agent between the at least two consecutive sheets of the solid sheets after the at least two consecutive sheets are formed; temporarily joining the at least two consecutive sheets together using the first bonding agent; and permanently joining the at least two consecutive sheets together by activating the second bonding agent and at least partially removing the first bonding agent.
