A method of initiating a telecommunication session for a communication device include submitting to one or more telecommunication carriers a proposal for a telecommunication session, receiving from at least one of the one or more of telecommunication carriers a bid to carry the telecommunications session, and automatically selecting one of the telecommunications carriers from the carriers submitting a bid, and initiating the telecommunication session through the selected telecommunication carrier.

1. A computer-implemented method comprising:
identifying, by a computing device during a communication session with a WiFi network, a plurality of cellular network providers that are able to communicate with the computing device at a current physical location of the computing device; during the communication session with the WiFi network, obtaining signal strength information from each of the plurality of cellular network providers; determining whether to transfer the communication session from the WiFi network to a cellular network provider from the plurality of cellular network providers based at least in part on the signal strength information obtained during the communication session with the WiFi network; and based on the determining of whether to transfer the communication session:
selecting a particular cellular network provider from the plurality of cellular network providers based at least in part on the signal strength information; andcausing the communication session to be transferred from the WiFi network to the particular cellular network provider.
