A capturing method and user terminal. The method comprises: upon receiving an auto-focus and capture instruction, responding to the auto-focus and capture instruction, acquiring a first preview image via a first camera, and acquiring a second preview image via a second camera (S101); calculating, according to the first preview image and second preview image, an object distance to a user terminal from a captured object contained in the first preview image and second preview image (S102); generating, according to the calculated object distance, at least one depth-of-field layer, wherein the number of captured objects contained in the depth-of-field layer is one object or a plurality of objects, and the plurality of captured objects each have the same object distance to the user terminal (S103); acquiring, according to a predetermined corresponding relationship between the object distance and a focus position, a target focus position corresponding to the depth-of-field layer (S104); and focusing, via the first camera and/or the second camera, with respect to the target focus position and capturing a picture (S105). Therefore, the capturing method and user terminal can automatically configure a focus position and perform focusing and capturing. |
