a camera configured to capture an image of a user's face; a display configured to display a video currently being reproduced in the image display apparatus; and a controller configured to detect a change in facial expression from the captured image of the user's face when entering a personal video recording (PVR) mode and when a change in facial expression is detected, to store in the storage unit the video to be reproduced from a first time point to a second time point, the first time point being a time point before a point in time at which the change in facial expression is detected to the second time point being a time point after the point in time at which the change in facial expression is detected. |
