METHOD FOR PREPARING MAGNETIC NANOPARTICLES HAVING CORE-SHELL STRUCTURE

Provided is a method for preparing magnetic nanoparticles having a core-shell structure, comprising the steps of: (a) modifying the surface of central nanoparticles by introducing a functional group thereto; (b) introducing a catechol functional group to the central nanoparticles by treating the central nanoparticles with a compound containing a catechol functional group; (c) forming a superparamagnetic nanoparticle layer around the central nanoparticles by introducing the superparamagnetic nanoparticles to the surface of the central nanoparticles; and (d) forming a silica shell such that the silica shell encompasses the superparamagnetic nanoparticle layer.
