This operation apparatus comprises: an operation plate (10) provided with an operation surface (11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16) on which a pressing operation is performed by an operation body (F); a mounted member (60) mounted on the operation plate; a first elastic member (30) that is arranged on the side opposite to the operation surface of the operation plate and sandwiched between the operation plate and the mounted member, and that elastically deforms by a pressing force from the operation body; sensors (21, 40, 72, 200, 400) that sense the level of elastic deformation change in the first elastic member generated in association with the pressing operation; a pressing determining device (74) that determines whether or not the pressing operation has been performed on the basis of values sensed by the sensors; and a second elastic member (50) that is sandwiched between the operation plate and the mounted member and that elastically deforms, together with the first elastic member, by the pressing force. The first elastic member and the second elastic member are arranged such that the pressing force is applied thereto in series. |
