The invention relates to a high-pressure rotary seal-plug assembly with an expandable continuous ring (1) including a male hydraulic connector (2) rotating in a female hydraulic connector (4), said connectors (2, 4) including an inner duct leading into a communication chamber (10) while a non-expandable sealing ring (42) is mounted freely around the male hydraulic connector (2) and is housed with little play in the female hydraulic connector (4) while a non-expandable ring spring (20) biases said sealing ring (42) towards a shoulder providing annular support for a ring (14) secured to the male hydraulic connector (2) and to compress axially an expandable continuous ring (13) inserted axially between the non-expandable sealing ring (42) and the shoulder providing annular support for the ring (14) and comprising an inner cylindrical surface of the expandable ring (15) placed in communication with the communication chamber (10). |
