FOLDABLE COMPOSITE BED FRAME

A bed frame (10) which can be assembled without the use of additional tools and may be collapsed for shipping. The bed frame (10) comprises a pair of side rail assemblies (16), three cross rail assemblies (18) and mounting brackets (24). Each of the cross rail assemblies (18) is adjustable in length and comprises multiple movable members (20). Each cross rail member (20) has a projection (120) which fits inside a cavity (84, 84a) of a leg assembly (32, 86) secured to one of the side rails (20). To disassemble the bed frame (10), the cross rail assemblies (18) may be removed from the side rail assemblies (16) without any tools.
