Provided are an ADS array substrate and fabrication method thereof, and display device. Common electrodes (1) of the ADS array substrate also serve as touch control electrodes (10), and signal lines (11) are arranged to electrically connect to the corresponding touch control electrodes (10) one-to-one. During a touch-control time period of a display time for one frame, whether a self-capacitance of the touch control electrodes (10) has changed is detected via the corresponding signal lines (11), so as to determine a touch position. Since the signal lines (11) one-to-one correspond to the touch control electrodes (10), a detection signal obtained by each of the signal lines exclusively corresponds to one of the touch control electrodes (10). Even though multiple touch control electrodes (10) are touched simultaneously, multiple touch positions can be accurately determined.
