Provided is a writing pressure detection module for which assembling precision of components can be easily ensured, and contact strength with a printed board can be maintained with respect to application of a high writing pressure. The module is provided with: a pressure-sensing part for outputting electrical information through electrodes in response to a detected pressure; and a holder for holding the pressure-sensing part and for electrically connecting the held pressure-sensing part to a circuit board which has a circuit for detecting an applied pressure on the basis of the electrical information output from the pressure-sensing part. The holder is provided with a holding part for holding the pressure-sensing part and an engagement part with the circuit board, and has a constitution wherein wiring extending from the holding part to the engagement part is formed on the surface of the holder, whereby the electrodes of the pressure-sensing part and the circuit board are electrically connected via the wiring when the holder and the circuit board are engaged with each other. |
