An anchor insertion device having a protective tube is provided. In one aspect, anchor insertion device includes an inserter including a shaft and an inserter stop formed at a proximal end of the shaft, a protective tube having an inner diameter sized to receive the shaft of the inserter and cover an anchor coupled to a distal end of the shaft, the protective tube further including a proximal end, a distal end, and a cylindrical surface extending between the proximal end and distal end of the protective tube; and a stop formed circumferentially on the cylindrical surface of the protective tube at the proximal end of the protective tube, the stop being adapted to engage with the inserter stop. |
