The present invention provides a gene-modified non-human animal wherein at least one CD3 gene selected from the group consisting of endogenous CD3ε, CD3δ and CD3γ is functionally deleted on the genome and at least one human CD3 gene selected from the group consisting of human CD3ε, CD3δ and CD3γ is functionally expressed. By means of this gene-modified non-human animal, mature T cells can be differentiated and produced and immunocompetent cells, including T cells, can function. This gene-modified non-human animal makes possible efficient evaluation and screening in the development of therapeutic methods and agents using human CD3-mediated targeted drugs.
