The present invention relates to a system (100) and method for providing mobile number based discovery and requisition of services. The system (100) of the present invention comprises an end user to place a request for a service by selecting a mobile number of a service provider and a remote server (102) to receive the selected mobile number of the end user. The remote server (102) upon receiving the mobile number respond with a list of services provided by a service provider and allow the end user to select a preferred service and preferred time for the requested service provider and to schedule the received service request.
