Provided is a project risk management system which, according to a typical embodiment, quantifies and predicts, on the basis of the values of prescribed risk items acquired in a project to be evaluated before completion, the possibility of a risk becoming apparent after the completion of the project to be evaluated, wherein the project management system has: an indicator model generation unit for generating an indicator model for determining a deviation from a unit space as a Mahalanobis distance by the Mahalanobis-Taguchi (MT) system, the unit space being a set of the values of risk items in a plurality of past successful projects; and a risk calculation unit for calculating a Mahalanobis distance from the unit space of the project to be evaluated on the basis of the indicator model, and using the calculation result as an indicator. |
