[Class 20 (ii)] A triangular-shaped wall bracket has a hooked end 9 to engage an aperture in the head 7 of a wall dog 1, the end of the inclined strut 12 also bearing against the wall, and the bracket is further supported by a vertical bar 20 adjacent the face of the wall and having a slotted end to receive the upper bar 10 of the bracket and an offset portion at 21 to clear the strut of the bracket. The bar passes through a slot in the head 18 of an angle-shaped bracket having a portion 16 for engagement between the brick courses beneath a stretcher-brick 14, and is secured in the head by a screw 24. |
