The present invention is a propylene resin foamed particle having a cylindrical foamed core layer configured from a propylene resin composition (a) that satisfies (i) and (ii) and a coating layer that includes an olefin resin (b) that satisfies (iii) or (iv). (i) A mixture of 75-98 wt% of a propylene resin (a1) with a melting point from 100 to 140°C and 25-2 wt% of a propylene resin (a2) with a melting point from 140 to 165°C. (ii) The difference between the melting points of the resin (a2) and the resin (a1) is at least 15°C. (iii) A crystalline olefin resin that has a melting point TmB lower than a melting point TmA of the composition (a), wherein 0°C < [TmA-TmB] ≤ 80°C. (iv) A non-crystalline olefin resin having a softening point TsB lower than TmA, wherein 0°C < [TmA-TsB] ≤ 100°C.
