A cover for a rotary die cutter anvil cylinder includes a cover body having a first end and a second end positioned opposite the first end with the cover body configured to be positioned about a rotary die cutter anvil. The cover also includes a first set of members positioned at the first end of the body with each of the members of the first set of members defining a first recess configured to engage a first movable jaw of an anvil cylinder, and a second set of members positioned at the second end of the body with each of the members of the second set of members defining a first recess configured to engage a second moveable jaw of an anvil cylinder. The first set of members is configured to interlock with the second set of members.
