Provided are a cutting tool that is suited to high cutting speeds, a tool body for the cutting tool, and a work tool. This work tool has a force-transmission part provided to the distal end thereof and has a fixed rotational-center axis that extends from a distal-end side to a base-end side. The work tool is provided with a cam part that is arranged further to the base-end side than the force transmission part. The distance of the cam part from the rotational-center axis of the work tool changes in accordance with the angle at which the cam part is rotated around the rotational-center axis.
