PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase reliability of reporting a usable time of an elevator using a storage battery as a power source during a power failure.SOLUTION: An elevator monitoring device includes: a total power consumption calculation part 41b that calculates power consumed by running of a car in each time zone and adds up the calculated power in each time zone every day; a day count part 41c that counts the number of days for which the calculated values of power are added up; an average power consumption calculation part 41d that divides a total value of the calculated values of power in each time zone by the number of days counted thereby to find an average value of the calculated values of power in each time zone; a usable time calculation part 41e that adds the power preliminarily set as power to be consumed other than running of a car during a power failure to the average values in respective time zones thereby to find predicted values of power consumption in the respective time zones during a power failure, and calculates a usable time of an elevator using a storage battery 2 as a power source on the basis of these predicted values and a measured value of power remaining in the storage battery 2; and a communication processing part 41f that causes a communication device 24 to transmit a command to display the calculated usable time on a display device 31 in a hall and a display device 32 in the car to an elevator controller 20. |
