PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a generation device capable of generating from a pulse voltage of which the reference potential is different and in which there is no distortion, from a pulse voltage regardless of a duty of the pulse voltage, and a conversion apparatus comprising the generation device.SOLUTION: A generation device 15 uses a transformer 5 in which a primary coil L2 and a secondary coil L3 are insulated, to generate a pulse voltage of which the reference potential is different, from a pulse voltage which is inputted from a control section and of which the cycle is fixed. Each time a period shorter than the cycle of the inputted pulse voltage elapses, an inverter circuit 4 inverts a polarity of the inputted voltage and applies the polarity-inverted voltage to the primary coil L2. A rectifier circuit 6 rectifies an AC voltage outputted from the secondary coil L3 to generate a pulse voltage of which the reference potential is different from that of the inputted pulse voltage. |
