Provided is an air conditioner, capable of improving the detecting performance of a sound sensor. The air conditioner comprises a microphone (601) for receiving the sound within the space of the air conditioner and an installation substrate (600) for installing a microphone (408). Further comprised is a vibration-proof member (603) for enclosing a microphone (601), wherein the microphone (601), across the vibration-proof member (603), is installed to an installation substrate (600). Moreover, the air conditioner comprises an air blower for air blast and a control portion for controlling the rotating speed of the air blower. When the microphone (601) is triggered to receive the sound within the space of the air conditioner, the control portion makes the rotating speed of the air blower slower than the speed before the microphone receives the sound. |
