PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To appropriately set a power saving mode regardless of brightness in the circumference.SOLUTION: A portable telephone 10 includes an illuminance sensor 24, a proximity sensor 26, and a camera module (50). For example, when an arbitrary application is executed and illuminance in the circumference is a threshold or more, image capturing is performed by a camera module having a lens aperture 28 in the front surface of the portable telephone 10. Face recognition processing is performed in a captured image. When the face of a user is recognized, a normal mode is set. When the face of a user is not recognized, a power saving mode for suppressing power consumption is set. When an object detection time reaches a first predetermined time in a case where it is dark in the circumference and also the proximity sensor 26 detects an object, a power saving mode is set. |
