The present invention provides a depth image coding/decoding method and apparatus. In a technical solution of the present invention, a first residual is obtained according to an average value of numerical values of sample points in the first partition and a prediction value of the first partition, and a second residual is obtained according to an average value of numerical values of sample points in the second partition and a prediction value of the second partition; and the foregoing first residual and second residual are coded.
