PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light source control device for controlling multiple light sources by a static control system or a dynamic control system.SOLUTION: The light source control device 1 includes: an interface unit 2 for receiving control commands including gradation data that defines the amount of light emitted by the light source for each of the multiple light sources, and an operation mode signal for designating an operation mode; a dynamic control part 6 for determining a first period during which power is supplied at different timings for each first signal wire, according to the number of the first signal wires to which anodes of the light sources to be used in the designated operation mode are connected; and a period setting part 9 for setting a second period during which the light source can be powered according to the amount of emitted light represented by the gradation data that corresponds to the light source, while the first period is set with respect to the first signal wires connected to the anodes of the light sources connected to second signal wires, with respect to the second signal wires connected to cathodes of the light sources to be used in the designated operation mode. |
