PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a simple folding fan suitable for an advertising medium.SOLUTION: In a paper folding fan, folding fan pieces are provided, each of which having a lower end width in the vertical direction wider than the upper end width. Then, engagement margins are formed in each folding fan piece by extending the folding fan piece in the left and right width directions and rendering one side edge of the folding fan piece mountain folding and the other side edge thereof valley folding. A center hole is provided concentric with an opening center provided near the lower end of each folding fan piece so that the plurality of folding fan pieces can be opened in a fan shape from a state of being layered on each other. The folding fan piece of the lowermost layer includes: a fastening band which starts from a side edge corresponding to the center hole, runs around the side edges of the plurality of folding fan pieces and above the uppermost folding fan piece, penetrates down through the center holes and returns to the lowermost folding fan piece, to fasten all folding fan pieces together and form an opening pivot; and a fastening part for fastening a tip end of the fastening band to the lowermost folding fan piece. Further, an engagement part is formed in which the valley-fold engagement margin of the folding fan piece is engaged with the mountain-fold engagement margin of the neighboring folding fan piece when the plurality of folding fan pieces in the layered state are opened in the fan shape around the opening center. |
