PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To stably and firmly lock and fix a steel plate with a fall preventive mechanism, in a steel plate holding device of using an electromagnet.SOLUTION: A steel plate holding device comprises an electromagnet 5 having an upper part connected to the operation device side and the lower surface side attracted to the steel plate S, and also comprises a fall preventive mechanism 6 for preventing fall of the steel plate S by locking on the lower edge of the steel plate S attracted to the electromagnet 5; and the fall preventive mechanism 6 comprises a driving body, link operation bodies 8, 28, 32 and 33 and a locking body 50 having a locking part 52 locking on the lower edge of the steel plate S, and the locking part 52 is locked on the lower edge of the steel plate S in a fixed state when the locking body 50 moves upward by interlocking with fold-up operation of the link operation bodies 8, 28, 32 and 33 by drive of the driving body. |
