A lamp has a body (1) and a battery (5) is housed in the body (1). The body (1) carries a LED (7) and a total internal reflection lens (6) at the end opposite from a pair of contacts (2). The pair of contacts (2) are exposed on the body of the lamp (1) and an accelerometer (10) is mounted in the housing. The LED (7) is powered by the battery (5). An air space (9) is provided in the body of the lamp at the lens/LED end which enablesthe lamp to float with the lens/LCD uppermost. A printed circuit board (PCB) (4) is mounted in the body (1). The LED (7), the battery (5), the pair of contacts (2), the switch (3), the accelerometer (10) are connected to the PCB (4). The circuitry is adapted and arranged to switch the LED ON after a predetermined period of conductivity via water between the contacts. |
