PURPOSE:To protect electronic appliances against heating due to temperature rise on the processor unit side. CONSTITUTION:Processor cards 11a-11n in a processor unit 10 are provided, respectively, with temperature sensors 12a-12n and when any one of the temperature sensors detects abnormal temperature rise, a detection signal is delivered to a heating temperature decision circuit 13 in the unit where an operation is carried out. Operation result is fed to a control circuit 6 in a power supply section 9 in order to control or interrupt power supply to the processor unit 10. Temperature rise of the processor unit 10 can be suppressed by regulating power supply thereto when temperature rise in the processor unit 10 exceeds a predetermined level. |
