PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent deviation from the correct shifting direction head to the right marking position in marking work.SOLUTION: A surveying apparatus 1 comprises a reference line setting data acquiring unit 43 that acquires coordinate values of a plurality of indication points; a reference line setting unit 44 that sets as a reference line a line linking the plurality of indication points on the basis of the coordinate values acquired by the reference line setting data acquiring unit 43; a target coordinate value acquiring unit 47 that acquires a target coordinate value on the basis of a surveyed value; a guiding value calculating unit 48 that acquires, as a guiding value in a coordinate system formed of a coordinate axis parallel to the reference line and a coordinate axis oriented perpendicular to the parallel coordinate axis, a direction from the target to a marking position and the distance between the target and the marking position on the basis of the coordinate value of the marking position and the coordinate value of the target; and a display processing unit 49 that displays on a display unit 14 the guiding value calculated by the guiding value calculating unit 48. |
