PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a magnetic separation and agitation device which is capable of improving throughput and cleaning efficiency by integrating a magnetic separation part and an agitation part to perform magnetic separation, redispersion, and agitation without moving a vessel.SOLUTION: A magnetic separation and agitation device for magnetic separation and agitation of a reaction liquid containing a magnetic component and a nonmagnetic component includes: a reaction vessel 107 in which the reaction liquid is stored; a nozzle 17 which sucks the reaction liquid in the reaction vessel 107 and discharges the reaction liquid or a cleaning liquid; a base 15 which holds and rotates the reaction vessel 107; drive means 16 which rotationally drives the base 15; and a ferromagnetic body 12 which is arranged in the base 15 and, when the base is stopped, moves to a position close to the reaction vessel 107 and, when the base 15 is rotated, receives a centrifugal force due to rotation of the base 15 to move to a position away from the reaction vessel 107. |
