The invention discloses a wireless communication system and a load control method and equipment for the same. Wherein, said wireless communication system comprises at least one base station and a plurality of services in a cell that is serviced by the base station, said method comprising: determining if the cell load is in a state that needs to be adjusted; selecting a candidate service to be adjusted from the plurality of services in the cell; and adjusting the service selected in said selecting step if the determination result in said determining step is to adjust the state, thereby adjusting the cell load. Selective and actually effective load control to the wireless communication system can be realized through the invention.
