摘要 In the method of controlling a hydraulic pneumatic riveting tool with a traction element, the sliding movement during riveting is controlled by the hydraulic piston (3) with the manually operated trigger (2) and the rotary movement during screwing on and screwing off of the rivets is controlled by a rotary air engine (4). By pressing the rivet on the mandrel (1) of the traction element, first the air engine starts to rotate (4), which causes screwing of the rivet on the mandrel (1) of the traction element; after riveting of the rivet, the trigger (2) of the tool is released, and then, by rotating the air engine (4) in the opposite direction, the rivet is screwed off and, at the same time, the hydraulic piston (3) returns to its initial rest position. During the reciprocating motion of the hydraulic piston (3), the valve (6) of the compressed air supply into the air engine (4) is acted upon as follows: closing of the valve takes place in a time shift in relation to the time of landing of the hydraulic piston (3) into the initial rest position, where the time shift is determined by complete unscrewing of the rivet from the tool. The device for controlling compressed air supply into the rotary air engine of the pneumatic-hydraulic tool, when implementing the method described above, includes a time delay element (7), consisting of the closing element (9) in the form of a fitted piston placed in the hydraulic chamber (8) with corresponding internal fitting, filled with oil or a plastic lubricant, where the closing element (9) is pressed by the spring (11) into engagement with the closing element of the valve (6) of the compressed air supply into the air engine (4), while the fitting of the closing element (9) and the internal fitting of the hydraulic chamber (8) create, during the shift of the closing element (9) and gradually along the length of the chamber (8), apertures of different sizes for the controlled closure motion of the closing element (9).
