A plant-derived water-purifying agent which can be used for the purification of water such as industrial wastewater, and which can be used suitably in an automated purification apparatus when the purification of wastewater with the plant-derived water-purifying agent is to be carried out using the automated purification apparatus. The water-purifying agent is characterized by comprising granules of a plant powder. More preferably, the water-purifying agent has a Carr's flowability index of 40 or more, wherein the Carr's flowability index can be determined by measuring three items, i.e., the angle of repose, the degree of compression and the spatula angle of the water-purifying agent. |
