PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve accurate peak detection regardless of the height of a base line, and to increase peak detection efficiency by preferentially detecting a peak originating from target components whose signal strength is relatively high in a limited time.SOLUTION: A data point giving the maximum signal strength to an applied chromatogram waveform is determined as a peak apex, and data points are successively checked before and after the apex, and the data points each of which has not updated the predetermine width minimum value are searched to obtain peak start/end points. As for two chromatograms to be obtained by excluding a peak region to be determined by the peak start/end points, and dividing the waveform with the peak region sandwiched therebetween, the peak apex and the peak start/end points are extracted again in the same way. This process is repeated as long as possible so that it is possible to preferentially detect the peak whose signal strength is high. |
