摘要 Device comprises three or more laser triangulation devices (14) arranged in the same plane and aimed at a common point being the center of the elongated work-piece. The plane of the laser devices is perpendicular to the axis of the work-piece and with an ideal arrangement of 6 lasers the lasers are arranged in pairs at angles with equal separation between them of 60 degrees. Independent claims are made for devices for measuring devices for determination of diameter and eccentricity of elongated round products. Devices comprise laser scanners consisting of light sensitive sensors and laser sources. The laser scanners are arranged either to provide tangential scanning of the work-piece surfaces or so that the work-piece throws a shadow completely within the illuminated area of the sensors. Independent claims are made for methods for determining diameter and eccentricity of elongated work-pieces.
