PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To readily enhance heat insulation performance of an existing underfloor space.SOLUTION: An existing underfloor space comprises a sleeper 1 supported on a floor post 6 fixed on a floor post footing 5 at a lower end, a floor joist 2 fixed on the sleeper 1, a heat insulation material 3 fitted between the floor joists 2,2, and a floor board 4 fixed on the floor joist 2. A gap 7 formed between the heat insulation material 3 and the sleeper 1, surrounded by the floor joists 2, 2, is closed by a gap member 8. A heat insulation member 9 is installed between the sleepers 1,1. The heat insulation member 9 comprises a heat-insulating body material 12 and a support material 13 disposed at a lower end of the body material 12 and having a protrusion 14 that protrudes outward from the body material 12 formed thereon. The body material 12 is fitted between the sleepers 1,1 from below, and the protrusion 14 of the support material 13 is fixed on the sleeper 1. |
