PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a notification broadcasting receiver for making it possible to omit a power inserter or AC adapter for supplying power to an optical receiver.SOLUTION: A notification broadcasting receiver 110 that is connected to an optical receiver 100 for converting an optical signal transmitted through an optical transmission path to an electric signal and performs notification broadcasting by using the electric signal converted by the optical receiver 100 comprises: an outage detection unit 111 for detecting stop of power supply from the outside of the notification broadcasting receiver 110 to the notification broadcasting receiver 110; and a control unit 112 that supplies power to the optical receiver 100 when stop of power supply from the outside of the notification broadcasting receiver 110 to the notification broadcasting receiver 110 is not detected by the outage detection unit 111 and intercepts power to the optical receiver 100 when stop of power supply from the outside of the notification broadcasting receiver 110 to the notification broadcasting receiver 110 is detected by the outage detection unit 111.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4 |
