PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle body lateral structure of a convertible, which can prevent fog on the window shield by reliably discharging the internal air of the vehicle interior using negative pressure caused by a traveling wind while preventing deterioration in vehicle body stiffness.SOLUTION: In the vehicle body lateral structure of a convertible, a reinforcing member 13 is obliquely bridged across a rear end part 2' of a rocker member 2 and an intermediate part 9' of a quarter member 9 to connect them. A vent duct 14 for communicating the outside and the inside of the vehicle interior is opened at a part of a quarter inner 9b that is surrounded by a center pillar 6, the rocker member 2 and the reinforcing member 13. A resin rear side panel is disposed so as to cover at least the surrounded part of the quarter inner 9b from the outside in a vehicle width direction and connected to the center pillar 6, the rocker member 2 and the quarter member 9. |
